XXI IUPAC Symposium on Photochemistry
The researchers of Combinatorial Chemistry Department participated in the XXI IUPAC Symposium on Photochemistry that was held on 2-7 April 2006 in Kyoto, Japan.
This Symposium is one of the biggest worldwide meetings in this scientific direction; more than 500 oral and poster reports were presented there. Our researchers represented Ukraine at this Symposium; their reports concerned such actual problems as the development of fluorescent probes for nonspecific staining of proteins; mechanism of cyanines binding to DNA; development of two-photon excited fluorescent probes; and fluorescent J-aggregates.
